Off-season maintenance inspection

Perform a complete inspection of the following components

Ensure the humidifier remains empty until humidification is required

Verify no call for humidity and aquastat set point is less than room temperature

For models with a standard drain valve

Let the fill water run until the tank is cooled

Shut off the field-installed manual supply water shut-off valve

Let the tank drain and manually close the drain valve

For models with end-of-season drain option
