Mount the CO2 absorber on the unit as illustrated

Install the breathing bag on the swivel bag mount

Install the breathing tube to the connection on the CO2 absorber with a small twisting motion

Connect the fresh gas hose from the fresh gas outlet to the CO2 fresh gas inlet

Depress locking mechanism while inserting and removing fresh gas connection

Install the sodalime canister and sealing screw to the CO2 absorber

Remove the machine frame from the box

Remove the components from the accessories box

Loosen the 4 nuts with a 1/2” ratchet and slide the machine up to separate from the wall plate

Remove the wall plate from the back of the machine

Fix the wall plate with 4 screws

Install the machine on the wall plate by sliding the screws onto the slots

Ensure the following prerequisites are met

Connect the circuit to be verified to the fresh gas outlet of the anesthesia machine.

Obstruct the patient’s circuit outlet with a plug or your thumb.

Open the flowmeter to approximately 200 ml.

Close the gas evacuation valve.

Press the oxygen flush button and hold until the pressure on the manometer indicates approximately 30 cm H2O.

Check the manometer. Is the pressure stable or increasing?
