Remove the front grille according to the “Removal of Front Grille”.

1 Remove the screw and remove the drip proof plate.

2 Cut the clamp.

3 Pull out the indoor heat exchanger thermistor.

4 Remove the screw of the ground.

5 Remove the screws of the connection wires.

Is the EV connector correctly connected to the PCB?

Turn the power off and on again, did the EV generate latching sound?

Check mark

If the EV does not generate latching sound, proceed to the next step

Check mark

After disconnecting the connector, did the tester confirm continuity?

Check the continuity between the pins

Check mark

If there is no continuity between the pins, the EV coil is faulty

Check mark

If the continuity is confirmed, is the outdoor unit PCB faulty?

Sign off on the electronic expansion valve check
