CHECK 7: VRV systems refrigerant shortage diagnosis

Measure the superheating degree of suction gas

Is the compressor discharge gas temperature higher?

Does the electronic expansion valve turn open?

Does low pressure drop causing the unit not to demonstrate cooling capacity?

Sign off on the refrigerant shortage check

Fan Motor Connector Check

Outdoor unit

Power supply turned OFF

Resistance between phases of U, V, W at the motor side connectors

Values are balanced and there is no short circuiting

Indoor unit: FXMQ50-140PB

X1A connector removed from the fan PCB (A2P)

Resistance between the U and V phases of the motor connector

Resistance between the V and W phases of the motor connector

Resistance between the W and U phases of the motor connector

Run this procedure

Refrigerant Overcharge Check

Warning: This check requires trained personnel with PPE!

Enter the high pressure reading

Is the cooling capacity insufficient due to overload control?

Enter the superheating degree of suction gas

Is the compressor lower in discharge pipe temperature despite of pressure loads?

Enter the subcooling degree of condensate

Sign off on the refrigerant overcharge check

Relay Broken Wire Check

Procedure for checking outdoor-outdoor unit transmission wiring for broken wires

Power supply to all equipment turned OFF?

Short circuit between the outdoor-outdoor unit terminal F1 and F2 in the 'Outdoor Unit A' established?

Continuity checks between the transmission wiring terminal blocks F1 and F2 of the central remote controller

Is there continuity between the terminal blocks?

If there is no continuity, the transmission wiring may have broken wires.

Conduct continuity checks between the transmission wiring terminal blocks F1 and F2 of the unified ON/OFF controller

Conduct continuity checks between the outdoor-outdoor unit terminal of the 'Outdoor Unit E'

Conduct continuity checks between the outdoor-outdoor unit terminal of the 'Outdoor Unit D'

Air Conditioner Test Operation Check

Test Operation

Is the temperature setting of the remote controller at the lowest level in cooling mode or in test mode?

Checklist

Is the operation lamp lit?

Is the timer lamp off?

Is the fan operating?

Is the air from indoor unit cool?

Is the air from outdoor unit warm?

Is the air flow from the indoor unit stopped after about 5 minutes?
