Inspect remote controller and switches

Warning: Do not use any paint thinner, organic solvent, or strong acid for cleaning

Is the LCD and surface of the remote controller dirty?

If the surface is dirty, proceed with the following steps

Wipe the LCD and surface of the remote controller with a dry cloth

If the dirt on the surface cannot be removed, soak the cloth in neutral detergent diluted with water

Squeeze the cloth tightly, and clean the surface

Wipe the surface with a dry cloth

Sign off on the maintenance procedure

Warning: Ensure the machine is turned off before starting the procedure

Check if any of the following messages appear on the screen: 'Time to clean filter', 'Time to clean filter & element', 'Time to clean element'

Filter or element cleaned or replaced?

Press UP/DOWN buttons to select 'Reset Filter Indicator' on the main menu screen and press Menu/OK button

The display shown in illustration 1 disappeared from the basic screen when the filter sign is reset?

• Do not touch the air inlets or aluminum fins of the outside or indoor units

• Touching them may result in injury

• Do not wash the outside or indoor units with water

• An electric shock or fire may result

• Watch your steps at the time of air filter cleaning etc

• If the scaffold is unstable, you may fall or topple down, thus causing injury

• Be sure to stop the operation, and turn the breaker off before cleaning

• This may cause electric shock and injury
