Inspect remote controller and switches

Formula to calculate the quantity in CO2 equivalent tonnes: GWP value of the refrigerant × total refrigerant charge [in kg] / 1000

Heat exchanger of the outdoor unit blocked up due to dust, dirt, leaves, etc?

It is recommended to clean the heat exchanger yearly

Heat exchanger blocked leading to too low pressure or too high pressure?

A blocked heat exchanger can lead to worse performance

Sign off on the heat exchanger check

AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON!

Check the indoor and outside unit intake and outlet vents for blockage

Remove anything that might be blocking them

See the Operation Manual included with the indoor unit for details on how to clean it

When the power comes on, the characters in the remote controller display appear. (To protect the unit, turn the power on at least 6 hours before operating it. This makes operation smoother.)

On a clear day, use fan operation for around half a day to thoroughly dry out the interior of the unit. Refer to chapter “Operation Procedure” for details on fan operation
