Power Module Check
Warning: Ensure that the voltage between (+) and (–) of the diode bridge (DB1) is approx. 0 V before proceeding.
Is the compressor harness connector disconnected from the outdoor unit PCB?
Enter the resistance between the terminals of the DB1
Enter the resistance between the terminals of the compressor
Are the measurement results within the acceptable range?
Sign off on the power module check
Thermistor Resistance Check
Disconnect the connectors of the thermistors from the PCB
Thermistors disconnected successfully
Measure the resistance of each thermistor using tester
Select the model of the thermistor
For the models in which the thermistor is directly mounted on the PCB, disconnect the connector for the PCB and measure
Connector for the PCB disconnected successfully
Measure the resistance of the thermistor mounted on the PCB
Sign off on the thermistor resistance check
Electronic Expansion Valve Check
EV connector correctly connected to the PCB
EV generates latching sound when power is turned off and on again
Continuity confirmed when connector is disconnected and checked with a tester
Check the continuity between the pins
EV coil is not faulty if there is continuity between the pins
Outdoor unit PCB is not faulty if continuity is confirmed
Note: The latching sound varies depending on the valve type
