Power Supply Waveforms Check
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Enter the power supply waveform measurement between No. 1 and No. 2 on the terminal board
Is the power supply waveform a sine wave?
Upload a photo of the waveform
Is there waveform disturbance near the zero cross?
Sign off on the power supply waveforms check
Compressor Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Four-way valve removed
Terminal cover removed
Terminals of the compressor disconnected
Warning: Be careful not to burn yourself with the pipes and other parts that are heated by the gas brazing machine.
Warning: If the refrigerant gas leaks during work, ventilate the room. If the refrigerant gas is exposed to flames, toxic gas may be generated.
Warning: Since it may happen that the refrigerant oil in the compressor catches fire, prepare a wet cloth so as to extinguish fire immediately.
Caution: For environment protection, do not discharge the refrigerant gas in the atmosphere. Make sure to collect all the refrigerant gas.

Rotation Pulse Check on the Outdoor Unit PCB
9/12 class
1. Check that the voltage between the pins 10 - 11 is 15 VDC.
2. Check if the Hall IC generates the rotation pulse (0 ~ 15 VDC) 4 times between the pins 10 -12, 10 - 13, when the fan motor is manually rotated once.
15/18/24 class
Make sure that the voltage of 320 ± 30 V is applied.
1. Set operation off and power off. Disconnect the connector S70.
2. Check that the voltage between the pins 4 - 7 is 320 VDC.
3. Check that the control voltage between the pins 3 - 4 is 15 VDC.
4. Check that the rotation command voltage between the pins 2 - 4 is 0 ~ 15 VDC.
Thermistor Resistance Check
Warning: Disconnect the connectors of the thermistors from the PCB before proceeding
Thermistors disconnected from the PCB
Measure the resistance of each thermistor using tester
Select the model of the thermistor
For the models in which the thermistor is directly mounted on the PCB, disconnect the connector for the PCB and measure.
Thermistor disconnected from the PCB for direct mounted models
Measure the resistance of the directly mounted thermistor
Sign off on the thermistor resistance check
Four-Way Valve Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove the peripheries.
Remove the screw and four-way valve coil.
Remove the terminal cover.
Disconnect the terminals of the compressor.
Remove the overload protector.
Remove the electronic expansion valve coil.
Remove the putty.
Before working, make sure that the refrigerant gas is empty in the circuit.
