6 Monthly Coil Section Maintenance
Frost protection of the coil section checked
Coil section checked for any leakage
Was there any leakage found?
If leakage was found, clear it
Bolt & nut checked for security
Were any loose bolts or nuts found?
If loose bolts or nuts were found, tighten them
Sign off on the coil section maintenance
6 Monthly Fan Maintenance
Check the fan bearing and in case of the damage replace it. Also, grease it smoothly
Check fan motor bearing
Check the motor temperature of the fan
Check Bolt & nut secure and in case tighten it
Check the obstruction of the intake air and in case clear it;
6 Monthly Heat Wheel Inspection
- For seal inspection
Ensure a positive seal between the rotor face and frame structure
Check if the seals are intact and contact the casing and rotor media
Check if there is excessive wear
Replace it (if any)
Ensure there is no significant leakage between the casing and interconnecting duct work
- For drive inspection
Check for misalignment of the drive belt on the pulley or periphery of the rotor
Check the belt joint. Replace it, if necessary
Initial 48 Hourly Air Handling Unit Check
CAUTION! HIGH AIR TEMPERATURE IN THE FAN SECTION CAN CAUSE MOTOR OVERHEAT AND DAMAGE. ON DRAW-THROUGH AIR HANDLERS, ADJUST THE DISCHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE OF THE HEATING SECTION NOT TO EXCEED 1040 F (400C)
Make sure to completely isolate the Electrical source
Re-check and Re-tension the drive belts due to stretch
Check and adjust the pulley alignment to ensure the motor fixing is properly secure
Check all bearing, wheel bolts & nuts and sheave set screws (or cap screw) are in secure position
Sign off on the 48 Hourly Air Handling Unit Check
1 Weekly Fan Check
Check the fan for any damage or cracks
Check the fan for Excessive vibration
Check the Flexible connection of the fan
Sign off on the fan check
