NOTE! Be sure fan motors are electrically locked out

Check fan blades for tightness on shaft

Check fans for loose rivets and cracks

NOTE! Annual (or spring start-up) operations includes all weekly and monthly operations

Sign off on the condenser check

DANGER! LOCKOUT/TAGOUT all power sources prior to starting, pressurizing, de-pressuring, or powering down the Chiller

Disconnect electrical power before servicing the equipment

The panel is always energized even if the system switch is off. If it is necessary to de-energize the complete panel, including crankcase heaters, pull the main unit disconnect

More than one disconnect may be required to de-energize the unit. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death

WARNING! Warranty may be affected if wiring is not in accordance with specifications

A blown fuse or tripped protector may indicate a short, ground fault, or overload

Before replacing fuse or restarting compressor, the trouble must be found and corrected

It is important to have a qualified control panel electrician service this panel

Unqualified tampering with the controls can cause serious damage to equipment and void the warranty

Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!

Is the unit operating at ambient temperatures of 105°F (40.6°C) and above?

If the unit is not operating at the required temperature, report the issues to the maintenance team and stop the procedure

Is the exhaust fan with rain hood properly installed?

Are the two inlet screens with filters properly installed?

Are the necessary controls and wiring properly installed?

Is the unit able to operate to 125°F (52°C)?

Is the fan VFD (low ambient option) included in the unit?

Enter the current ambient temperature of the unit

NOTE! Log readings can be taken daily for a higher level of unit observation

Sign off on the weekly inspection

NOTE! Coil rinsing and cleaning can be required more frequently in areas with a high level of airborne particles
