CAUTION! Only a qualified service person is allowed to perform maintenance. Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation and turn off the circuit breaker. Do not touch the aluminium fins of the indoor unit. If you touch those parts, this may cause an injury.

NOTE! Volatile liquid such as benzene, gasoline and thinner, Polishing compounds, Rough materials such as a scrubbing brush should not be used for cleaning.

You may change the time of indication “Time to clean filter”. If the indoor unit is used in a space where the air is too contaminated, ask your local dealer for solution.

If it becomes difficult to remove contamination from the air filter, replace the air filter. (Air filter for replacement is a separately sold accessory.)

Do not remove the air filter except when cleaning. Unnecessary handling may damage the filter. (This product is not provided with an air filter as a standard accessory.)

Do not attach objects other than the genuine air filter (e.g., kitchen paper) to the air inlet. Otherwise, the performance of the air conditioner will be degraded, and icing or water leakage may result.

NOTE! Do not wash the suction grille with water of 122°F (50°C) or higher. It may cause discoloration and deformation. When drying the suction grille, do not heat it with fire. It may cause burning. Do not use substances such as gasoline, benzene, thinner, polishing powder and liquid insecticide sold in the market. It may cause discoloration and deformation.

It is recommended to have periodical maintenance by a specialist. For specialist maintenance, please contact the dealer where you bought the air conditioner. The maintenance cost must be borne by the user.
