Engine Oil & Filter Change (WG3800 Engine)

Replacement of Oil Filter Cartridge

Tilt Cylinders - Check, Adjust, Lubricate

Engine Oil – Change (WG3800 Engine only)

Engine stopped before changing the oil?

Engine warmed up for approximately 5 minutes?

Oil pan placed below the engine?

Drain plug removed and oil fully drained?

Replacement of Oil Filter Cartridge

Oil filter cartridge removed with the filter wrench?

Inspect Coolant Hoses (LP Engines Only)

LP Regulator/Converter Inspection

Hydraulic Return Filter - Change

Lift Chains - Test, Check, Adjust

Steer Wheel Bearings - Reassemble

Park the lift truck level with the forks lowered, parking brake engaged, transmission in NEUTRAL and the engine stopped.

1. Lift the steer wheels off the ground. Place stands or blocking under the frame and steer axle to support the lift truck.

4. Remove the castle nut and washer.

5. Remove the wheel assembly. Examine the seal for damage and wear. Replace the seal if necessary.

WARNING: Deflate tire before removing wheel nuts at tire change.

6. Remove the inner bearing. Clean and lubricate the steering knuckle. Reassemble both the inner and outer bearing cones.

Engine Oil – Change (WG3800 Engine only)

Engine stopped before changing the oil?

Engine warmed up for approximately 5 minutes?

Oil pan placed below the engine?

Drain plug removed and oil fully drained?

New oil filled until the upper line on the dipstick

Replacement of Oil Filter Cartridge

Engine stopped before replacing the oil filter cartridge?
