Ice Bin Cleaning
CLEANING THE ICE BIN
Prepare a mild detergent soap solution in 100°F potable water
Using a nylon (not wire) bristle brush, clean the cold plate and the interior of the ice bin with the soap solution
Rinse the cold plate and interior bin surfaces with clean potable water
Using a mechanical spray bottle, prepare a sanitizing solution according to the manufacture’s directions and spray the entire interior bin surfaces
Allow to air dry
Sign off on the ice bin cleaning
Carbonator Removal
Remove ice from bin
Disconnect the power to the unit and to the pump and motor
Shut off the CO2 supply that is connected to the Carbonator
Shut off the water supply that is connected to the pump and motor
Remove Cup Rest, Splash Panel, Drip Tray, Sliding Lid and Sanitary Plate
Relieve pressure in the system by flipping the pressure relief valve to the up position on the Carbonator
Remove front cover, back cover and valve body of No. 8 (left side)
Remove the plug button on the left side of tower and cover hole with tape (safety)
Disconnect the barb fitting for the CO2 line on Carbonator
Dispenser Inspection
Inspect the unit for damage or irregularities
Report problems to the delivering carrier
File a claim with the carrier
Open loose parts packages and inspect parts
Make sure all items are present
Carbonator Installation
Clean around Carbonator tank opening removing all silicone, and make sure cavity is clean and dry
Place new Carbonator in place of the old one
Reconnect probe wire harness to pump and motor
Seal top of Carbonator with silicone
Connect the CO2 line from the barbed fitting Carbonator and tighten to 80+/- 10 in pounds (Note: replace white gasket)
Reconnect the Carbonator lines to the Carbonator
Reinstall valve body, back cover and front cover of the valve No. 8 to unit
Turn on the CO2 supply that is connected to the Carbonator
Turn on the water supply that is connected to the pump and motor
