6 Monthly Router External Surface Cleaning

Inspection and Preparation

Inspect the router for dust and debris accumulation

Is the ambient temperature consistently above 25°C or 77°F?

Cleaning Procedure

Vacuum the router air intake vents

Vacuum the router exhaust vents

Post-Cleaning Check

Ensure all vents are clear of dust and debris

Is additional cleaning required due to high dust levels?

Cover Replacement

Remove the Cover

Read the Safety Warnings and disconnect the power supply before performing any module replacement.

Confirm the router is turned off and disconnected from the power supply.

Disconnect all port cables connected to the router.

Installer to disconnect all cables connected to the system.

Place the chassis on a flat surface.

Remove the 14x cover screws on the two sides of the router cover.

Slide the cover from bezel side to I/O side until it stops.

Pull the cover vertically to disengage from the chassis.
