Brewer Digital Timer Replacement

Check mark

Remove the two #8-32 screws securing circuit board to the mounting bracket

Remove circuit board and spacers (as required)

Check mark

Remove all wires from the timer

Check mark

Attach all wires to the replacement timer board prior to installation to the component mounting bracket. Reconnect the wires

Install new circuit board with spacers (as re-quired) to the component mounting bracket

Adjust the timer as described below

Check that the brewer is connected to water supply, the tank is properly filled, and a funnel and server are in place

All volume settings must be done with the sprayhead installed

Brewer Tank Heater Replacement

Check mark

Shut off water supply to the brewer

Check mark

Disconnect the water supply tubes on the tank lid for the tank and the faucet coil assembly

Check mark

Disconnect the blue/black wire from the limit thermostat to the control thermostat

Check mark

Disconnect the black wire and the white or red wire from the tank heater terminals

Check mark

Remove sprayhead and the hex nut securing the sprayhead tube to the hood. Set aside for reassembly

Remove the eight #8-32 nuts securing the tank lid to the tank

Check mark

Remove the tank lid with limit thermostat, spray-head tube, tank heater and faucet coil assembly as a assembly

Remove the two hex nuts securing the tank heater to the tank lid. Remove tank heater with gaskets and discard

Check mark

Install new tank heater with gaskets on the tank lid and secure with two hex nuts

1 Daily Brewer Cleaning

Clean the brewer

Check mark

Clean all surfaces on Bunn-O-Matic equipment with a damp cloth rinsed in any mild, non-abrasive, liquid detergent

Check mark

Check and clean the sprayhead. The sprayhead holes must always remain open

Check mark

With the sprayhead removed, insert the deliming spring (provided) all the way into the sprayhead tube. When inserted properly, no more than two inches of spring should be visible. Saw back and forth five or six times

NOTE - In hard water areas, this may need to be done daily. It will help prevent liming problems in the brewer and takes less than a minute

Sign off on the daily brewer cleaning

Brewer Start Switch Replacement

Check mark

Remove the white/orange wire and white/yellow wire from the start switch

Check mark

Compress the clips inside the hood and gently push the switch through the opening

Check mark

Push new switch into the opening and spread the clips to hold the start switch in the hood

Check mark

Reconnect the wires

Check mark

Sign off on the Brewer Start Switch Replacement

Remove the wires from the switch terminals

Check mark

Compress the clips inside the hood and gently push the switch through the opening

Push the new switch into the opening and spread the clips to hold switch in the hood

Reconnect the wires

Sign off on the switch replacement
