Is the washer water supply slow or stopped?

If the washer water supply is slow or stopped, the water inlet strainer may be blocked.

Did you close the taps completely before removing the supply hoses?

Did you remove the hose from the tap?

Did you rinse the strainer under running water?

Is any visible debris still present on the strainer?

Did you reconnect the hose to the tap?

Is the detergent dispenser tray fully opened?

Is the drawer catch pressed down and the tray pulled from the washer housing?

Is the insert removed from the detergent dispenser tray?

Is the insert and the detergent dispenser tray cleaned under warm running water?

Is any remaining detergent residue lightly wiped away?

Is the insert attached and the detergent dispenser tray slid back into place?

Tip: Do not operate the washer without the detergent dispenser tray in place. Always keep the tray completely closed.

Is the washer disconnected from the power outlet?

Provided that you use correct amounts of detergent with your wash loads, descaling is not necessary. If descaling the washer drum does become necessary, please follow the descaling product manufacturer’s instructions.

Are there white spots on the washer drum caused by lime or mineral deposits or small amounts of rust caused by metal objects left in the drum?

NOTICE: Descaling agents contain acids which may attack parts of the washing machine and may discolor the laundry.

Is the washer failing to drain?

If the washer is not draining, it may be necessary to clean the washer drain pump.

Is the drum checked and any visible debris removed after each load?

To access the washer drain pump, the service cover must first be removed.

If the washer has not been drained, try to drain it now. Turn the program selector to the Spin/Drain, select Spin Speed to No Spin and press the Start/Pause button. Wait a few moments to let the cycle drain the water from the drum.

Is the tap shut off and the appliance switched off?

Open and remove the service cover.
