Is the dust protection cap 1 damaged?

If the dust protection cap is damaged, it should be replaced immediately. We recommend having this carried out by an after-sales service.

Inserting the tool (Refer to figure A)

Is the shank end of the tool clean and lightly greased?

Is the tool inserted in a twisting manner into the tool holder after pushing back the locking sleeve 2?

Is the tool latched properly? Check by pulling the tool.

Removing the tool (Refer to figure B)

Warning: Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.

Machine and ventilation slots clean

Dust protection cap in good condition

If dust protection cap is damaged, report to after-sales service.

Note: The power tool is oil-lubricated. An oil change is required only within the scope of maintenance or repair.

If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by Bosch or an authorized Bosch service agent.

Machine operational after maintenance
