1 Monthly Dryer Cleaning

Cleaning the Heat Exchanger

Allow the dryer to cool (use Air Fluff/No Heat program if needed)

Place an absorbent cloth under the maintenance flap to catch residual water

Unlock and open the maintenance flap completely

Turn both locking levers toward each other

Pull out the heat exchanger cap

Remove the heat exchanger

NOTICE: Clean only with warm water. Do not use hard or sharp-edged objects

Rinse the heat exchanger and cap to remove all lint and fluff

Dryer Maintenance

WARNING: Risk of explosion. Do not use solvents or highly flammable liquids for cleaning.

CAUTION: Improper cleaning may damage the dryer or cause injury. Do not use a hose, pressure washer, scouring agents, steam cleaners, or bleach-based wipes.

Housing and Control Panel cleaned with soft cloth and soapy water

Drum, door seal, and inside of the door wiped with a damp cloth

Detergent and cleaning agent residues removed immediately

Lint Filter cleaned before or after each drying process

Appliance switched off before cleaning the Lint Filter

Filter opened and fluff removed

Severely dirty or clogged filters rinsed under warm running water
