Preventive maintenance must be performed only by authorized personnel to avoid serious hazards.

Tool servicing is recommended at a Bosch Factory Service Center or an Authorized Bosch Service Station.

Is the tool pre-lubricated and ready to use?

Is the oil level above the bottom threads in the housing?

Is the oil extra dirty or thick?

If oil is extra dirty or thick, replace the plug and run the saw for 1 minute to warm up the oil. Drain the oil and flush with kerosene before refilling with Bosch lubricant.

For a new saw, change the oil after the first 10 hours of use.

Is the tool disconnected from the power supply before cleaning?

Is the tool clean and free of debris?

Enter the machine's hour meter reading

Inspect the bearings, are they in good condition?

Is it time for the second brush change?

If the bearings are in bad condition or it's time for the second brush change, replace them immediately

Sign off on the bearing replacement

Warning: Disconnect the plug before starting the inspection

Brushes replaced if worn to 3/16\ in length or sticking in the holders"
