Cleaning The Fan Blades and Motor

Clean the fan blades with a soft cloth

Clean the motor with a soft cloth

If washing the fan blades, cover the fan motor to prevent moisture damage

WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER CORD BEFORE CLEANING ANY PARTS OF THE UNIT.

Ensure the condenser surface is free of dust, dirt, and lint.

Clean the condenser coil and fins with a commercial condenser coil cleaner.

Brush the condenser fins from top to bottom, not side to side.

Straighten any bent condenser fins with a fin comb after cleaning.

WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER CORD BEFORE CLEANING ANY PARTS OF THE UNIT.

Clean the cabinet interior using a solvent of warm water and mild soap.

Ensure no steel wool, caustic soap, abrasive cleaners, or bleach are used.

Remove shelves and pilasters from the unit.

Clean shelves and pilasters with mild soap and warm water.

Reinstall pilasters by lifting them up and placing them back in.

Reinstall shelves and shelf brackets.

Disconnect power cord before cleaning any parts of the unit

Remove door gasket from the frame of the door

Soak door gasket in warm water and soap for 30 minutes

Dry door gasket with a soft cloth

Replace door gasket on the frame of the door

Check door gaskets for proper seal after replacement
