WARNING: Disconnect power cord before cleaning any parts of the unit.

Use a solvent of warm water and mild soap to clean the cabinet interior.

Avoid using steel wool, caustic soap, abrasive cleaners, or bleach.

Remove the shelves and pilasters from the unit.

Clean the shelves and pilasters with mild soap and warm water.

To remove the pilasters, first remove the shelves and shelf brackets, then lift the pilaster up and out.

Cleaning The Fan Blades and Motor

Clean the fan blades with a soft cloth

Clean the motor with a soft cloth

If washing the fan blades, cover the fan motor to prevent moisture damage

Disconnect power cord before cleaning any parts of the unit

Remove door gasket from the frame of the door

Soak door gasket in warm water and soap for 30 minutes

Dry door gasket with a soft cloth

Replace door gasket on the frame of the door

Check door gaskets for proper seal after replacement

Check that the condenser surface is free of dust, dirt, and lint

Clean the condenser coil and fins with a commercial condenser coil cleaner

Brush the condenser fins from top to bottom

Straighten any bent condenser fins with a fin comb
