1 Yearly / 2000 Hourly Oil Filter and Oil Separator Replacement
Warning: Ensure the compressor is warm before starting the procedure.
Compressor run until warm?
Compressor stopped, air outlet valve closed, voltage switched off, and system depressurized?
Oil drained by opening drain valve?
Deliver the oil to the local oil collection service.
Oil filter and separator removed and seats on the manifold cleaned?
Gaskets of the new filter and separator oiled and screwed into place?
Fill oil separator/tank with oil until the level reaches the middle of sight-glass.
No dirt dropped into the system?
DD/PD Filter Replacement
Stop the compressor
Close the air outlet valve
Switch off the voltage
Depressurize by unscrewing filler plug (37) one turn to permit any pressure in the system to escape
Depressurize the air receiver by opening drain valve
Unscrew the bowl
Discard the filter element
Clean the bowl and replace its O-ring
Install the new filter element
3 Monthly Air Compressor Check
Check for possible leaks
Describe the location and severity of any leaks found
Inspect condensate trap
Was it necessary to clean the float valve?
Is a DD/PD filter installed?
Check service indicator on DD/PD filter
Was it necessary to replace the filters?
Sign off on the 3 Monthly Air Compressor Check
3 Monthly / 1000 Hourly Air Filter Inspection
Inspect air filter
Replace the air filter element if damaged or heavily contaminated?
Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve and switch off the voltage.
Remove the filter cover and the filter element. Discard the air filter element.
Fit the new element and the cover.
Sign off on the air filter inspection
1 Yearly / 500 Hourly Oil Filter and Oil Replacement
ATTENTION: Never mix oil of different brands or types.
Run the compressor until warm. Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve, switch off the voltage and depressurize by unscrewing filler plug one turn to permit any pressure in the system to escape. Depressurize the air receiver by opening drain valve.
Drain the oil by opening drain valve. Close the valve after draining. Deliver the oil to the local oil collection service.
Remove oil filter and separator. Clean the seats on the manifold. Oil the gaskets of the new filter and separator and screw them into place. Tighten firmly by hand.
Fill oil separator/tank with oil until the level reaches the middle of sight-glass. Take care that no dirt drops into the system. Fit and tighten plug. Close drain valve of the air receiver.
Run the compressor for a few minutes. Stop the compressor and wait a few minutes to allow the oil to settle. Depressurize the system by unscrewing filler plug one turn to permit any pressure in the system to escape. Depressurize the air receiver by opening drain valve. Fill the separator/ tank with oil until the sight-glass is 3/4 full. Tighten plug and close drain valve of the air receiver.
Sign off on the oil filter and oil replacement
