Is the circulating pump properly sized for the application?

Oil the two motor oil cups as instructed on the oil tube

Oil the pump oil cup as instructed on the oil tube

Add 2 or 3 teaspoonfuls of No. 20 non-detergent motor oil in bearing oil cups

Add 10 or 12 drops of No. 20 non-detergent motor oil in motor oil cups

Inspect all safety devices including low water cutoffs for proper operation

Low Water Cutoff Device Maintenance

Flush the low water cutoff device of the float type

Ensure water softening equipment is operational

Has the water temperature risen by approximately 5°F?

Inspect the interior of the inlet/outlet manifold through the pressure relief valve tapping for lime build-up

Obtain UN•LIME from dealer or distributor

Read the instructions on the label of the UN•LIME container

Ensure all valves, pipes, and fittings between gate valves 'A' and 'B' and the boiler are made of copper or brass

Ensure the boiler is turned off and cooled down

Is the area around the boiler free from lint and debris?

Sweep the floor around the boiler carefully to reduce dust and dirt

Check that the flow of combustion and ventilation air to the boiler is not obstructed

Is the boiler area clear and free from combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids?

Technician's signature to confirm completion of cleaning

Ensure drain line is installed to direct discharge to a safe location

Is the manual gas control valve turned off?

Lift the lever at the top of the valve several times

Does the valve seat properly and operate freely?

Check for any signs of overheating

Is the gas supply functioning correctly?
