Heater Replacement
Warning: HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Disconnect all power and piping to system.
Preparation
Disconnect all power to the system.
Bleed pressure and drain all water from the system.
Heater Removal
Remove top panel.
Remove red top cover on the heater.
Note location of wires on the heater (L1, L2, L3).
Remove wires from the heater (L1, L2, L3).
Pump Replacement
Warning: HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Disconnect all power and piping to system.
Preparation
Disconnect all power to the system.
Bleed pressure and drain all water from the system.
Disassembly
Remove top and side panels.
Remove pump motor wiring cover panel (2 screws).
Note location of pump motor wires and remove.
Loosen and remove vent line.
Heat Exchanger Replacement
Warning: HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Disconnect all power and piping to system.
Preparation
Disconnect all power to the system.
Bleed pressure and drain all water from the system.
Removal of Old Heat Exchanger
Remove top panel.
Remove cover on the cooling solenoid.
Disconnect 'COOLING INLET' and 'COOLING OUTLET' piping.
Disconnect copper tubing connected to the heat exchanger.
Circulating Water Temperature Control Unit Maintenance
Safety Precautions
Disconnect all power before servicing or performing maintenance
Ensure the system is not operating or hot before servicing
Shut Down
Set the temperature controller setpoint to 90°F or lower. Allow to cool.
Turn off power to the unit. The controller will turn off.
Turn off the water supply to the unit.
Disconnect electrical supply to the unit.
Carefully bleed pressure from the system by loosening a pipe fitting.
