Turn the unit on and allow it to warm up for 30 minutes.

Press and release the TIME 1 button if it is not lit.

Press and release the Start/Stop button and start the stopwatch.

Record the time when the Bacon Indicator Light begins to flash.

Record the time when the Cooking Indicator Light turns off.

Inspect the Egg Rings for damage.

Clean the Egg Rings and surrounding unit.

Are the Egg Rings moving freely up and down within the Egg Rack?

Remove and reshape the Egg Ring if it does not move freely.

Reinstall the Egg Ring after reshaping.

Do the Egg Rings sit flush against the grill surface?

Remove the cover and the Egg Rack

Turn the power on and allow 30 minutes for the unit to warm up

Measure the temperature at the middle of the Platen surface

Is the temperature within the range of 250°F–300°F (121°C–149°C)?

Call your Authorized Service Agency if temperature is out of range

Reinstall cover and Egg Rack and Top Cover

Turn the power off and unplug the power cord.

Allow the unit to cool down before performing any service or maintenance.

Scrape the Platen surface clean of any residue.
