Sample Collection and Comparison

Collect a sample from the Sample Valve using the empty Sample Jar

Hold both the Sample Jar and the Reference Jar to a light for a visual turbidity comparison

Ensure a spare Pre-Absorber and Media Bed(s) are in stock

Is the Condensate Sample cloudy after comparison?

Change the Pre-Absorber and Media Bed(s) if the sample is cloudy

Remove Media Bed(s) and Pre-Absorber from plastic bags

Hose down the Pre-Absorber & Media Bed(s) until water runs clear

Shut off condensate flow to the Inlet Diffuser Assembly

Use polypropylene pad to adsorb and remove oil from surface water in Media Chamber(s)

Check the oil level in the translucent Oil Container

Is the oil level at or above 3/4 capacity?

Empty the oil container if the oil level is at or above 3/4 capacity

Verify that the bright red Flow Indicator is retracted inside the Access Lid

Shut off condensate flow to Inlet Diffuser Assembly

Unscrew the four Socket Head Cap Screws that hold the Diffuser to the Vessel

Lift up the Diffuser and move it out of the way

Grasp the edges of the Sediment Chamber and slowly lift it from the vessel

Tip the Sediment Chamber slightly to pour contents through the Separation Filter and back into the vessel

Remove the Separation Filter from the recess inside the Sediment Chamber and discard
