Is mechanical cleaning required?

Use a new gasket when reassembling

Check for signs of sluggish operation, excessive leakage, and noise

Is cleaning necessary based on inspection?

Inspect components for excessive wear

Clean all valve components thoroughly

Use special cleaning procedure for high mineral content water

Ensure the heat exchanger is turned off and isolated from the system

Gather necessary tools and safety equipment

Verify all necessary parts are in place before cleaning

Circulate AEC Liquid De-Scaling Solution through the process side of the heat exchanger

Circulate AEC Liquid De-Scaling Solution through the cooling water side of the heat exchanger

Check if all mineral deposits have been removed

Ensure the following tools and materials are available

Remove grease relief plug before adding grease

Grease all pump motors without permanently sealed bearings

Is the grease relief plug reinstalled after lubrication?

Check for any grease leaks around the pump seal

If leaks are found, refer to the seal replacement instructions in the Customer Information Packet
