Is mechanical cleaning required?

Use a new gasket when reassembling

Check for sluggish operation, excessive leakage, or noise

Inspect components for excessive wear

Ensure all parts are free of debris and mineral deposits

Reassemble the solenoid valve correctly

Ensure the following tools and materials are ready

Remove grease relief plug before adding grease

Is the pump motor equipped with permanently sealed bearings?

Ensure grease does not dislodge the bearing grease retainer

Is there any leakage from the pump seal?

Ensure the heat exchanger is turned off and isolated from the system

Gather necessary tools and safety equipment

Verify all necessary parts are in place before cleaning

Circulate AEC Liquid De-Scaling Solution through the process side of the heat exchanger

Circulate AEC Liquid De-Scaling Solution through the cooling water side of the heat exchanger

Note any issues observed during the cleaning process
