Is the unit shutting down on High Oil Temperature or Low Oil Pressure?
Examine oil filter element for aluminum particles
Are aluminum particles found in the oil filter?
Contact York Service Agent if aluminum particles continue to accumulate
Record VSOP Drive frequency
Is VSOP Drive frequency 55 Hz or higher?
3 Monthly Chliller Maintenance
7.1.4 Every 3 Months
Perform chemical analysis of oil
Was the unit leak tested?
Were any leaks found?
Were all leaks repaired immediately?

Was the system charged before leak testing?
Perform leak test with R134a compatible leak detector
Were all joints tight?

Record the refrigerant level after initial charging
Is the refrigerant level visible in the sight glass?
Ensure the system is shut down before checking and trimming the refrigerant charge
Verify that at least 4 hours have passed since the compressor and water pumps were stopped

Check graphic control centre (OptiView) displays.
Check for any signs of dirty or fouled condenser tubes.
Compressor Operation Checks
Is the compressor in operation?
Enter the bearing oil pressure on the SYSTEM Screen.
Enter the oil level in the oil reservoir.
Is the operating oil level between the upper and lower sight glasses?
Drain or add oil if necessary.
