Warning: Unplug the sander before starting the procedure

Loosen the table tilting lock knob and rotate the table so it is perpendicular with the edge of the sanding disc

Place a machinist square on the disc sanding table and against the sanding disc to check for squareness

Lock the table tilt knob when the table is perpendicular to the disc

Loosen the screw securing the pointer and adjust it so it indicates 90 ̊

Repeat steps 1-5 to adjust the belt sanding table

Sign off on the table angle adjustment

Warning: Unplug the sander before starting the procedure

Loosen the four table adjustment bolts

Measure the gap between the table edge and the face of the disc at the left end

Measure the gap between the table edge and the face of the disc at the right end

Adjust the clearance at each location to be approximately 1⁄16

Is the proper clearance achieved?

Sign off on the alignment procedure

Excess wood chips and sawdust vacuumed

Remaining dust wiped off with a dry cloth

Resin build up removed with a resin dissolving cleaner

Unpainted cast iron tables wiped clean after use

Tables kept rust-free with regular applications of quality lubricants

Sign off on the table & base cleaning

Warning: Always wear protective gear while cleaning the sanding surfaces.

Sanding belt and disc free of sawdust?

Upload a photo of the cleaned sanding surfaces

Sign off on the cleaning procedure

Warning: Unplug the sander before starting the procedure

All guards are in place and the belt locking lever is in the locked position

Knurled adjustment nut is loosened away from the roller pin

Plug in the sander and start it

Observe the corrected belt tracking

Stop the sander and repeat steps until the desired tracking has been met

Finger tighten the adjustment nut against the roller pin when the belt is riding correctly
