Whirlpool Draining
Preparation
Turn the turbine power switch (13) off to stop water circulation.
Draining without separate drain pump
Select the draining method
Using a floor drain
Connect hose to drain valve (15) and open the drain valve.
Using a sink
Rotate pressure control valve (11) counterclockwise.
Lower the pump (12) to the bottom of the tub.

Fill the tub with water
Place the stem tip of a calibrated thermometer next to the tip of the Whirlpool thermometer
Turn on the turbine assembly
Check if the Whirlpool thermometer reading matches the calibrated thermometer
Adjust the Whirlpool thermometer

Turbine Cleaning
Preparation
Drain the tub following the draining instructions above.
For tubs greater than 75.7 L (20 US gallons), prepare the turbine
Disinfecting Process
Fill the bucket or tub with water so the bottom of the turbine is at least 15.2 cm (6 inches) below the surface of the water.
Add a disinfectant solution to the water per manufacturer’s instructions.
Ensure the pressure control valve is in the open position.
Turn on the turbine for 5 seconds and turn it off.
Wait 10 minutes.

Ensure no abrasive compounds or metal brushes are used
Ensure steel wool does not contact stainless steel surfaces
Avoid cleaning products with strong acids or halogens (chlorine, fluorine, bromine, iodine)

Disinfect and clean the tub after each user
Disinfect and clean the thermometer after each user
Tub And Thermometer Cleaning
Preparation
Drain the tub following the draining instructions above.
Verify that the turbine is off.
Remove any loose objects or debris from the Whirlpool tub.
Disinfection
Use a stainless steel hard surface disinfectant per the manufacturer’s instructions.
Cleaning
Use a mild soap solution with one of the recommended cleaning materials.
Rinse thoroughly prior to use.
