Whirlpool Draining
Preparation
Turn the turbine power switch (13) off to stop water circulation.

Tub And Thermometer Cleaning
Preparation
Drain the tub following the draining instructions above.
Verify that the turbine is off.
Cleaning the Tub
Remove any loose objects or debris from the Whirlpool tub.
Select the cleaning material used for disinfecting
Disinfect the tub using the selected material per the manufacturer’s instructions.

12 Monthly Thermometer Adjustment
Preparation
Fill the tub with water to immerse the thermometer tip at least 10.2 cm (4 inches) deep.
Calibration Process
Place the stem tip of a calibrated thermometer next to the tip of the Whirlpool thermometer.
Turn on the turbine assembly.
Is the reading on the Whirlpool thermometer the same as the calibrated thermometer?
Adjust the external adjustment screw (a) to match the Whirlpool thermometer reading with the calibrated thermometer, if necessary.
Re-calibration Frequency
Ensure re-calibration is performed at least every 12 months or as needed.
Turbine Cleaning
Preparation
Drain the tub following the draining instructions above.
For tubs greater than 75.7 L (20 US gallons), prepare the turbine
Disinfecting Process
Fill the bucket or tub with water so the bottom of the turbine is at least 15.2 cm (6 inches) below the surface of the water.
Add a disinfectant solution to the water per manufacturer’s instructions.
Ensure the pressure control valve is in the open position.
Turn on the turbine for 5 seconds and turn it off.
Wait 10 minutes.
