Remove the relief valve assembly as outlined on page 3

Remove the retainer from the body bore

Remove the check valve modules from the valve

Verify the seats and springs of the first and second check modules are not interchangeable

Disassemble the check seats from the cage

Clean and inspect the disc assembly

Decide if the disc assembly needs replacement

Clean or replace O-rings as necessary and apply FDA approved silicon grease

Reassemble the check valve modules with the seat facing the valve inlet

Remove the relief valve cover bolts

Hold the cover down while removing bolts

Did the stem and diaphragm assembly remain with the cover?

Ensure the relief valve spring is free inside the body

Is it necessary to remove the relief valve seat for cleaning?

Clean the disc without disassembly of the relief valve module
