Remove the relief valve cover bolts

Hold the cover down while removing bolts

Did the stem and diaphragm assembly remain with the cover?

Ensure the relief valve spring is free inside the body

Is it necessary to remove the relief valve seat for cleaning?

Clean the disc without disassembly of the relief valve module

Remove the relief valve assembly as outlined on page 3

Remove the retainer from the body bore

Remove the check valve modules from the valve by hand or with a screwdriver

Identify and separate components of the check valve module

Note the condition of the disc assembly and decide whether to clean or replace it

Clean the disc assembly if not replacing
