Is the tire pressure within the recommended range?

Measure the wheel track depth in inches

Is the wheel track depth within the acceptable limit of 4 inches (101 mm)?

Methods to Control Wheel Track Depth

Select methods used to control wheel track depth

Position each actuator bracket on the split ring

Adjust actuator bolts in the slots of the actuator brackets

Specify the position for center pivot direction change

Did the pivot reverse at the desired point?

Readjust actuator bolts if necessary

Remove the drain plug and the fill plug.

Fill the gearbox 1-7/8 in (48 mm) from the bottom of fill plug hole with Valley Gear Lube.

Enter the amount of oil added (in oz or liters).

Is the oil level 1-7/8 in (48 mm) below fill plug when full?

Verify the installation of limit switches

Inspect the condition of the limit switches

Check the orientation of actuator bolts

Ensure actuator bolts are securely mounted

Check the flex joint hose for leaks

Tighten clamps or replace as required

Check the motor lead cable for damage

Contact local Valley dealer if the outer insulating sheath is cracked
