Ensure the trim angle is not too small to avoid 'plowing' or 'bow steering'.

Ensure the trim angle is not too large to avoid 'chine walking' or 'porpoising'.

Make a test run to determine if the trim angle needs adjustment.

Adjust the trim angle using the Power Trim and Tilt system.

Is the boat performing well after trim angle adjustment?

Is the engine operating below 1500 r/min when tilted beyond the maximum trim position?

Ensure all pre-trip checks are completed

Check the level of engine oil in the sump

Is the engine oil level sufficient?

Fill the recommended engine oil to the upper level

Tighten the oil filler cap securely

Remove the bolts securing the air duct guard

Remove the bolt securing the ignition coil

Loosen and remove the spark plug using the box wrench

Is the spark plug a resistor type?

Is the 'Check Thermostat' indication displayed on the screen?

Is the caution alarm icon (blue) displayed on the screen?

Press any button on the gauge to clear the 'Check Thermostat' indication.

Did the 'Check Thermostat' indication clear after pressing a button?

Consultation and Engine Shutdown

Consult with SUZUKI marine dealer to address the issue.

Inspect and clean, adjust, lubricate, or replace, if necessary

Turn the engine off and allow it to cool

Inject approximately 10 grams of grease at initial 20 hours

Inject approximately 5 grams of grease at every 100 hours (12 months)

Is it difficult to inject the grease in correct volume?
