Drain accumulated condensate from crankcase

Lubricate rotors with food grade lubricant

CIP pump (without rotors in place)

Lubricate shaft seals with food grade lubricant

Sign off on the daily rotary pump check

Rubber mat placed under the immediate area of the pump?

Hex nuts, cover and gasket removed from the pump body?

Rotors removed from the pump shafts?

Gasket, cover and hex nuts installed on the pump body?

Outer areas of the pump and gearcase rinsed and cleaned?

Hex nuts, cover and gasket removed from the pump body after CIP of the system?

Pump body, two shaft seals, two bearing seals, two O-rings and two seal rings removed from the gearcase?

Check bearings and oil seals for wear

Check pump interior and cover for wear

Check driven and drive pulleys for wear

Check overall condition of drive units

Make sure oil is changed regularly in drive units

Check shafts and rotor hubs for wear - corners must be square

1. Check all hardware for tightness

3. Check vented cover for air leakage*

4. Check for product leakage in incoming and outgoing lines

*Applies only to pumps equipped with vented covers.;

Warning: This cleaning procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Rotors and cover removed from the pump?

Rotors and cover washed separately?

Hot water applied to the underside of the pump between the body and gearcase?

Other product contact surfaces washed with hot water?

Rotors and cover put back on pump?

Rotors slide in freely without rubbing or contacting the edge of the cavity?

Sign off on the flanged hopper cleaning
