Power Module Without The Safety Function Being Enabled Replacement
Preparation
Switch off the supply voltage to the Power Module
Is an external 24 V power supply for the Control Unit being used?
Disassembly
Remove the connecting cables of the Power Module
Remove the Control Unit from the Power Module
Replacement
Replace the old Power Module with the new Power Module
Reassembly
Control Unit Without Enabled Safety Function Replacement
Replacing a Control Unit with data backup on a memory card
Disconnect the line voltage to the Power Module and (if installed) the external 24 V supply or the voltage for the digital outputs of the Control Unit.
Remove the signal cables from the Control Unit.
Remove the defective Control Unit.
Mount the new Control Unit on the Power Module. Ensure it has the same article number and the same or higher firmware version as the replaced Control Unit.
Remove the memory card from the old Control Unit and insert it in the new Control Unit.
Reconnect the signal cables of the Control Unit.
Switch on the line voltage again.
Verify that the inverter loads the settings from the memory card.

Disconnect the line voltage to the Power Module and any external 24 V supply or voltage for digital outputs of the Control Unit.
Remove the signal cables from the Control Unit.
Remove the defective Control Unit.
Remove the memory card from the old Control Unit and insert it in the new Control Unit.
Mount the new Control Unit on the Power Module ensuring it has the same article number and same or higher firmware version.
Reconnect the signal cables of the Control Unit.
Switch on the line voltage again.
Check what the inverter reports after loading.

Safety Precautions
Check the safe isolation of the Power Module connections before carrying out installation work.
Ensure capacitors in the Power Module are sufficiently discharged (wait 5 minutes after switching off the line voltage).
Motor Connection Precautions
Connect the three phases of the motor lines in the correct order.
Check the direction of motor rotation after replacing the Power Module.
Power Module Replacement Procedure
Switch off the line voltage of the Power Module.
Remove the connecting cables of the Power Module.
