Ensure electrical power to the Chargepoint is OFF

Remove and retain the fixings securing the front fascia panel to the pedestal chassis

Carefully ease the panel away from the unit to gain access to the interior

Locate and remove 2x 5mm hex bolts and washers securing the clear dome to the dome base

Carefully lift the clear dome from the pedestal and place it to one side

Check for physical damage and presence of warning labels

Status indicators operating and displaying correct status

Check the condition of installed components

Is the access/cable lock operational?

Check for physical damage inside the enclosure

Visual inspection for any heat degradation

Ensure no foreign bodies or other contamination present

Ensure the inspection area is clear and safe for work

Verify the electrician's qualifications and certifications

Electrical Inspection and Testing

Inspect the Chargepoint for any visible damage or wear

Record the voltage reading of the Chargepoint

Record the current reading of the Chargepoint

Test the functionality of the Chargepoint switchgear

Ensure wires and terminals are secure

Test earth fault loop impedance and record the value

Test power outlets using a load simulator

If Chargepoint illumination is installed, does the illumination and light sensor operate correctly?

Clean the external surfaces with a damp cloth

Is the working environment requiring more frequent cleaning?
