CAUTION! Risk of DAMAGE TO ENTHALPIC CORES

Remove the air filters to access enthalpic cores

Vacuum all exposed surfaces of the enthalpic cores with an attachment having long, soft bristles

Note any visible damage or issues with the enthalpic cores

Measure the belt span length in inches

Calculate the required belt deflection (1/64" per inch of belt span)

Measure the actual belt deflection at mid-point of the drive

Is the belt deflection within the required range?

Belt Condition and Alignment Check

Inspect for signs of belt wear or damage

Check for proper alignment of sheaves

Is there any belt squealing or slippage during start-up?

Check belt condition and tension

Record the number of times belt tension was checked in the first 24 hours of operation

Are the sheaves free of grooves and wear?

Remove dust and grease buildup on the motor housing

Consult the motor manufacturer’s website for maintenance and greasing schedule

24 Hours Post Start-Up Maintenance

Readjust the tension on the motor drive belts

Check the air filters for dust, dirt, and debris in new installations

Inspect the following filters for discoloration or dirt

Does any filter look discolored or dirty?

Replace any discolored or dirty filters

Ensure no filter sprays are used during installation

Units with Filter Air Pressure Differential Sensors

Check for dirty filter alarm on connected alarm or control device
