24 Hours Post Start-Up Maintenance

Readjust the tension on the motor drive belts

Check the air filters for dust, dirt, and debris

Measure the belt span length in inches

Calculate the required belt deflection (1/64" per inch of belt span)

Measure the actual belt deflection using moderate thumb pressure at mid-point of the drive

Is the belt deflection within the required range?

Belt Condition and Alignment Check

Inspect for signs of belt wear or damage

Check for proper alignment of sheaves

Is there any abnormal noise during start-up?

CAUTION! Risk of DAMAGE TO ENTHALPIC CORES

Ensure the following precautions are taken

Remove the air filters to access enthalpic cores

Vacuum all exposed surfaces of the enthalpic cores using an attachment with long, soft bristles

Note any visible damage or issues with the enthalpic cores

Check belt condition and tension

Record the number of times belt tension was checked in the first 24 hours of operation

Are the sheaves free of grooves and wear?

Remove dust and grease buildup on the motor housing

Does the motor have sealed bearings?

Enter the pressure drop across the filter banks

Is the pressure drop within the acceptable range?

Replace the paper filter if it is dirty

Verify the new filter is properly installed

Record the date of filter replacement
