Turn off all electricity to unit

Lower bottom pan to expose burner and manifold

Disconnect pilot tubing at the combination gas control

Disconnect thermocouple lead or ignition cable at the combination gas control and ignition control

Check if motor requires lubrication (not permanently lubricated type)

Inspect fan for proper fit on motor shaft

Check motor bearings for lubrication

Check blower bearings for lubrication

Inspect belt and sheaves for proper alignment

Inspect belt and sheaves for proper adjustment

Cleaning of Unit Heater Components

Ensure the unit is free from dust, dirt, grease, and foreign matter, focusing on

Use air hose to blow dirt and foreign matter from within the burner if air pressure is available

Check main burner orifices for blockage due to spider webs, etc.

Clean heat exchanger tubes from bottom with stiff brush after removing burner (Do not use wire brush)

Check wiring for possible loose connections

Refer to control instruction sheets furnished separately with the unit heater for control checks
