Main Burner Removal
Preparation
Turn off all electricity to unit
Turn off all gas to unit
Accessing the Burner
Lower bottom pan to expose burner and manifold
Refer to Figure 1A, Page 2 for guidance
Disconnecting Components
Disconnect pilot tubing at the combination gas control
Disconnect thermocouple lead or ignition cable at the combination gas control and ignition control

Cleaning of Unit Heater Components
Ensure the unit is free from dust, dirt, grease, and foreign matter, focusing on the following areas
If air pressure is available, did you use an air hose to blow dirt and foreign matter from within the burner?
Were the main burner orifices checked for blockage due to spider webs or other obstructions?
Cleaning Instructions
Avoid using hard, sharp instruments for cleaning burner ports, pilot burner, and main burner orifices.
Clean heat exchanger tubes from bottom with a stiff brush after removing burner (Do not use wire brush).
