Does the unit have a dirty filter warning light?

Check the condition of the filters

Record the maintenance activity in the log book

Remove the burner side access panel

Disconnect gas manifold at ground union joint

Remove the screws holding the manifold to the heat exchanger support

Slide the manifold through the manifold bracket

Blower Bearings Inspection and Maintenance

Check blower bearings for the following issues

Lubricate blower bearings as per manufacturer's recommendations

Were any bearings replaced due to wear?

Drive Sheaves and Belts Inspection

Inspect drive sheaves for alignment and wear

Check belts for tension and wear

Ensure the unit is free from dust, dirt, grease, and foreign matter.

Combustion Air and Exhaust Vent Piping

Inspect the combustion air and exhaust vent piping for blockages or damage.

Burner Ports and Pilot Burner Orifices

Inspect the burner ports and pilot burner orifices for cleanliness.

Describe any issues found with the burner ports and pilot burner orifices.

Air Shutters and Main Burner Orifices

Inspect the air shutters and main burner orifices for cleanliness.

Remove the burner side access panel

Remove the screws holding the burner side access panel

Disconnect the pilot supply line from the gas valve

Disconnect the ignition cable from the ignition controller
