Inspect bearings and gearmotors for excessive noise or heat

Check operation of all electrical controls

Check for proper PSI on air regulators

Sign off on the conveyor maintenance

CAUTION: Check to confirm tools and foreign objects have not been left on or inside the conveyor

CAUTION: Check to confirm all loosened parts have been retightened

CAUTION: Check to confirm all guards have been installed

CAUTION: Never re-weld over old belt splice. This makes the belt splice weak and brittle

Enter the current hours on the belt splice

Is the belt splice cracked or coming apart?

Is a new belt splice scheduled for replacement?

Sign off on the belt splice inspection

Warning: Before removing a valve or other pneumatic component, shut off and exhaust the entire pneumatic circuit and shut off and lockout electrical supply

Is the conveyor unusable due to malfunctioning electrical or valve components?

Are spare components available in stock for emergency replacement?

Is it feasible to repair the part later to replace maintenance stock?

Are there any items which cannot be readily repaired or are questionable?

Are the components under warranty?

Sign off on the Solenoid Valves Maintenance

Drive unit: Leaking seals and oil level in the gear case (if applicable)?

Drive unit: Unusual noises, vibration?

Photoeye adjusted for the worst case?

Photoeye has unobstructed view of reflector?

Photoeye energizes and de-energizes when the target moves in and out of the field of detection?
