Switch off power supply and secure against restarting

Ensure moisture and dust are kept away from live parts

Cleaning Exterior of Barrier Housing

Use water with washing-up liquid and a cloth to clean the exterior

Avoid contact of control units and electrical components with moisture

Remove dust inside the housing with a vacuum cleaner

Check that all covers are closed and safety equipment functions correctly

Visual inspection of the housing for damage and corrosion

Repair paint damage on the housing

Remove corrosion damage from the housing

Foundation and Mounting Inspection

Visual inspection of foundation anchors, attachment profiles, and mounting material for corrosion

Remove corrosion damage from foundation and mounting materials

Inspect housing for damage and corrosion

Clean housing and repair paint damage

Repair paint damage and remove corrosion

Check function of the residual current operated device
