Has the owner complained of insufficient cooling?

Check all wiring for loose connections

Enter the voltage at the unit (unit operating)

Enter the amp-draw on the condenser fan motor

Enter the amp-draw on the blower motor

Gauge the unit and check refrigerant charge if insufficient cooling was reported

Check the condition of the filters

Is the filter U.L.C certified or equivalent for use in Canada?

Clean the filter if it is dirty

Replace the filter if it is damaged

Ensure the 'AIR FLOW DIRECTION' marking is correctly aligned when re-installing the filter

Check for manufacturer's lubrication instructions on the motor

Are manufacturer's lubrication instructions available?

If no instructions are available, ensure the following

Is condensate drain pan cleaning necessary?

Clean the condensate drain pan if necessary.

Check the condensate drain line for blockages.

Clean the condenser coil with a water hose

Inspect condenser coil for cleanliness

Inspect for evidence of oil leaks on
