Ingersoll Rand Oil/Water Separator PSG-90

Prepare the replacement Adsorption Module and Pre-Adsorber for service

Remove Adsorption Module and Pre-Adsorber from their plastic bags

Thoroughly hose down the Pre-Adsorber & Adsorption Module while rolling them until the water runs clear

Shut off the condensate flow to the Inlet Diffuser Assembly

Use a polypropylene pad to adsorb and remove any oil floating on the surface water in the Adsorption Module Chamber

Shut off condensate flow to Inlet Diffuser Assembly

Unscrew the four Socket Head Cap Screws that hold the Diffuser to the Vessel

Lift up the Diffuser and move it out of the way

Remove the Sediment Chamber by grasping the edges and lifting slowly

Tip the Sediment Chamber to pour contents through the Separation Filter and back into the vessel

Remove and discard the Separation Filter from the Sediment Chamber

Collect a sample from the Sample Valve using the empty Sample Jar

Hold both the Sample Jar and the Reference Jar to a light for a visual turbidity comparison

Ensure a spare Pre-Adsorber and Adsorption Module are in stock

Is the Condensate Sample cloudy?

Change the Pre-Adsorber and Adsorption Module if the sample is cloudy
