Sign off on the bulldozer maintenance

24.5.1 BLADE CUTTING EDGE HARDWARE

Check the torque of the blade cutting edge hardware.

U Plow bolt nuts: 455 N*m (335 Ibf ft);

24.4.1 CHECK OIL LEVEL IN DRIVE TRAIN

1. Open the right side door at the hydraulic reservoir.

2. Unscrew the T handle of the oil level gauge, remove the gauge and wipe it clean.

3. Insert the gauge fully into the filler sleeve. Do not tighten. Remove the gauge and check the lubricant level. If necessary, add oil through the filler to bring the level up the FULL mark on the gauge. Reinstall and secure the gauge.

4. Lift up on lock lever and close door.

24.4.2.1 RIPPER LINKAGE (12 POINTS)

Is the coolant level in radiator sight glass present?

Is the coolant level between the FULL and ADD markings on the overflow jug?

CHECK ENGINE CRANKCASE OIL LEVEL

Is the oil level at or above the ADD mark on the oil level gauge?

CHECK EQUIPMENT SYSTEM HYDRAULIC OIL LEVEL

Is the oil level at the center line of the sight gauge on the side of the reservoir?

Is the fuel level sufficient according to the fuel gauge?

Check the torque of the blade cutting edge hardware.

Check the torque of the track shoe bolt.
