Keating of Chicago Electric Griddle 36X30

Scrape MIRACLEAN® surface with the Keating Scraper

Clean with potable tap water and a Keating palmetto brush

Polish surface with Keating Klenzer

Rinse with potable water to remove excess Keating Klenzer

Inspect the surface for any remaining residue

Completely wipe down griddle cabinet

Hand wash spatulas in mild to medium strength detergent

Avoid contact with Chlorine or bleach

Rub spatula with vegetable oil to slow discoloration

Carefully wipe blade with a dry cloth

Cover blade with plastic protection cover when not in use

Set thermostat to desired temperature

Allow thermostat to cycle three times

Locate 'L' on front of griddle plate above thermostat to be calibrated

Place thermometer on plate over bulb halfway toward rear of griddle

Check if calibration of griddle is less than 15°F off

Loosen three dial plate retaining screws

Rotate dial plate to match thermometer reading

WARNING: DISCONNECT ELECTRIC POWER SOURCE BEFORE CLEANING

Clean any grease build-up on the switches

Clean any grease build-up on the thermostat knobs

Ensure no grease has entered the body of the switch or thermostat

Clean the cabinet surfaces for sanitary reasons
